Big news here in New Zillund is that the Kiwi’s are complaining about what the RWC costs the NZRU and how they might not participate in the 2015 tournament as a result… I think it’s a rather empty threat because rugby really is a religion around here (what with Jesus being depicted as an All Black in a church, nogal).

I don’t foresee that changing too much in 4 years’ time. However, “Former All Blacks coach Laurie Mains has backed NZRU boss Steve Tew’s criticism of the IRB’s financing structures. Tew revealed that the ruling body is set to take a $13.2m hit from the current tournament…”

I don’t agree with the NZ Herald’s opinion on all of their points, but it’s an interesting debate and raises some questions. What are your thoughts on the sponsors and the financial structure? ….Especially since I’m sure we’d all like to see the tournament hosted in SA again? (comment below, Tweet me or Facebook me. Sadly smoke signals won’t work)

And on to happier thoughts: *drumroooooolllllll*

I present to you #BOKKING!

Besides allowing you to legitimately look like a complete chop in the spirit of supporting the Bokke, it’s a fun way of getting involved and being part of the fun off the field.

Do you need some more inspiration?

Come on, even I’m doing it!

And my producer Chane got in on the #BOKKING action as well:

Watch out for a #BOKKING treasure taken on set at Kia Ora’s studio here in New Zealand featuring Matt Pearce, Owen Nkumane and Taine Randell on SuperFan‘s page!

Do you have some #Bokking good pics to share? Then do. And if you don’t, take some. Pronto. Let’s enjoy the lighter side of all this glorious rugby madness!

That’s it for now. Good morning, and depending on where in the world you are when you read this: good afternoon, good evening and good night!
